Staying True to Our Roots in Downtown Boise

For sixty years, we have proudly called downtown Boise home. When we began planning our expansion into a nearly 6,000 square foot space, we knew we wanted to stay true to our roots and honor our history while creating something new and inspiring.

Boise has always been a part of who we are. We wanted this space to feel like a love letter to the city, something timeless and modern, innovative and inviting. Every decision, from the light fixtures to the layout, was made with intention and heart.

Our goal was to create a space that feels alive with creativity, filled with natural light and warm wood tones that make every guest feel welcome the moment they walk in.

A Space That Tells Our Story

Every corner of our salon carries a piece of our story. Hanging at the center is our chandelier from 1920s Vienna, a piece we brought from our previous location. We took it down strand by strand, hand polished every crystal, and reassembled it in this new home. It is a reminder that while everything around us has evolved, our spirit and values remain the same.

When guests arrive, they are greeted by our concierge team and a glowing retail space that showcases our favorite professional brands. Our custom makeup counter features softly lit mirrors that create an instant sense of beauty and confidence. Nearby, our facial bar offers a glimpse into the world of skincare, intentionally placed close to retail so guests can see, experience, and feel inspired by what is possible.

Every detail was designed with purpose. The lighting, the flow, and even the quiet luxury of the restrooms all contribute to an experience that feels cohesive, elegant, and uniquely Graeber.

The Heartbeat of Our Salon

The main salon floor is truly the heartbeat of our space. Sixteen styling stations fill the room, each designed to give our artists both creativity and comfort. Every detail, from the concealed storage to the natural lighting, was chosen to let the artistry shine.

One of our favorite features is the open color lab. Inspired by restaurant design, it is a walkthrough area where our team can collaborate and create together. Guests can see the magic happening without walking through the space, giving them a behind the scenes look at the artistry and science of custom formulated hair color.

Our lather lounge is a calm and restorative sanctuary. The sound of gentle rain and water fills the air, bringing our nature meets nurture philosophy to life. Every design choice was intentional, giving our stylists freedom to move gracefully and ensuring our guests can relax completely.

Designed for Every Guest

We wanted our new home to feel inclusive, comfortable, and personal. A quieter section at the back of the salon provides a sensory friendly, more intimate experience for guests who prefer a peaceful setting. That same space transforms into our education room, where we host trainings, meetings, and creative workshops for our team.

Our waiting area now sits at the center of the salon, surrounded by the energy and artistry that define Graeber. Guests can see stylists at work, connect with others, and feel part of the vibrant rhythm of our space.

And just beyond the salon doors, Roast & Vine, our neighboring coffee shop and wine bar, offers guests a place to unwind, sip, and stay awhile. It is an extension of the Graeber experience, designed to make every visit something special.
