This locally-owned professional hair salon and day spa has served their patrons of the Treasure Valley for over half a century- and counting!
Co-owners Odell England and Shelby Bills look forward to highlighting this momentous occasion through honoring their ‘guests’.
Enthuses Bills: “We like to refer to our customers as guests, and not just customers, as we are inviting them into our space.”
This distinction accounts most certainly for the business longevity in the Treasure Valley. Bills adds: “I think it speaks volumes to have returning guests – generations even – those who bring in their kids and then their kid’s children. We have guests who have moved out of the Valley, who continue to return here for our services for twenty years.
What precisely makes this salon and spa experience so unique? Bills explains: “Every service is customized to satisfy the needs of our guests. We ask questions such as ‘what is important to them’, ‘what is it their favorite part of the cut, color, or massage?’
In addition to the customized consultations and service, Graeber & Company prides itself as an Aveda Lifestyle Salon and Spa which imbues an environmental mindset with all aspects of their work including keeping safety and health in mind. Bills worked with the State of Idaho and helped draft a best practices protocol for salon openings, leading to timely reopening of Boise salons.
Despite Covid, there remains a need to celebrate 55 years of serving guests at this Boise business. Bills reminisced about previous anniversary events, “We used to celebrate with a Masquerade Ball. It included clearing our salon and hiring a DJ. We had red carpet night and invited the community.” This year, celebrating 55 years of devoted customer care, 250 salon guests were chosen to receive a special gift… “like a party in a box,”’ Bills promised.
“We are so grateful to our loyal clients and all the people who have supported us. They could have gone anywhere during the Covid crisis, but they came here.”
