Consultation

Before anything is booked, your stylist will assess your hair’s current condition to ensure it’s ready for the service. We’ll walk you through the process, set realistic expectations, and answer every question you have.

Preparation

Your hair will be thoroughly cleansed to remove buildup and open the cuticle before treatment application. This is an important step for ensuring the product bonds properly and delivers the best possible result.

Application

The treatment is applied evenly throughout your hair with care and precision. Smoothing treatments take time, and we never rush this step because the quality of the application directly affects the quality of your results.

Processing + Sealing

The treatment is processed and then sealed into the hair structure using heat. This step locks in the formula and sets your results.

Styling

Once complete, we’ll style your hair so you can see the final outcome & new texture of your hair.

Aftercare

We’ll walk you through how to care for your hair at home, including special product recommending, how often to wash, or any special instructions in the immediate future about preserving your treatment.

Who is a smoothing treatment best for?

Anyone who wants to reduce frizz, cut down on daily styling time, and add significant shine to their hair. Smoothing treatments work on all hair types, including color-treated hair. We’ll confirm during your consultation that your hair is in good condition to receive the service safely.

How long do results last?

The full Keratin Complex treatment delivers results that last 3–4 months. The Express treatment lasts up to 6 weeks. Home care plays a significant role in how long your results hold – using a sulfate-free shampoo and following your stylist’s aftercare guidance will extend your results considerably.

Can I color my hair before or after a smoothing treatment?

Timing matters. Your stylist will walk you through the recommended sequence during your consultation based on your hair’s current state and your color goals. It’s best not to make any changes until after consulting with your styling, just to be on the safe side.

Can I combine smoothing treatments with other services?

You can, but speak to our experienced team to find out the best order to do things. Sometimes it makes more sense to have a standalone smoothing appointment and then book in your other appointments for another time.

Do I need to use certain products on my hair after a keratin treatment?

There are some aftercare instructions to follow after a smoothing treatment to keep your hair looking great. Your stylist will take you through these tips and will be able to make recommendations for the right products to use on your hair.
